Alan T. Schiffman, CPA, PA, (ATSCPA) is a boutique accounting firm focused on providing audit and assurance, comprehensive tax, valuation, financial advisory, and related consulting services to businesses and individuals. Alan T. Schiffman—a professional with five decades of experience—manages ATSCPA, which focuses on the financial operations of small to midsize businesses and the economic goals of business owners and their families. Because ATSCPA is an independent advisory firm, the requirements imposed by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act do not affect our clients or professionals.

About Alan T. Schiffman

Alan T. Schiffman is a certified public accountant and financial consultant with five decades of experience. Mr. Schiffman was the national director of accounting practice and audit partner at the tenth-largest international accounting firm. He also founded Schiffman, Hughes, Brown and served as president of this major regional accounting firm for twenty years. Mr. Schiffman headed Schiffman, Hughes, Brown’s health care division, litigation support and financial services department, and corporate bankruptcy and reorganization department.

Mr. Schiffman also founded and served as chairman of the board and CEO of Madison Bancshares Group—the holding company of Madison Bank—for close to a decade, a role that included evaluating loans for the bank’s portfolio. In addition, he participates in developing curriculum and presenting educational programs and lectures for colleges and universities, seminars, and professional groups.

Currently, Mr. Schiffman is president of multiple business entities involved with strategic financial planning; auditing, accounting, and forensic and litigation consulting; real estate structure and syndication, development, and operation; operational management consulting; and the formulation of offshore IBCs and insurance conduits.

Mr. Schiffman also served on several boards of directors as a business and financial consultant. He was a member of the faculty of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and chairman of the Speakers Bureau of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a B.S. in accounting and finance from Lehigh University.
